ورحب الرئيس السيسي بالرئيس السنغالي في زيارته الأولى إلى مصر، وهنأه بمناسبة تولي السنغال رئاسة المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا «إيكواس»، مشيدًا بالدور الذي تضطلع به السنغال في تعزيز العمل الأفريقي المشترك. وأكد الرئيس السيسي استعداد مصر لدعم تنفيذ «الخطة الخمسية للسنغال» و«رؤية السنغال 2050»، من خلال نقل الخبرات المصرية وتوسيع مجالات التعاون في قطاعات البنية التحتية والزراعة وشبكات الري واستصلاح الأراضي والطاقة وغيرها من القطاعات الحيوية.

وشدد الرئيس على أهمية تعزيز التبادل التجاري بين البلدين وتشجيع القطاع الخاص على إقامة شراكات استثمارية جديدة تسهم في دعم جهود التنمية وتحقيق المصالح المشتركة. من ناحيته، أكد الرئيس السنغالي حرص بلاده على تعزيز العلاقات مع مصر، سواء على المستوى الثنائي أو في إطار العمل الأفريقي المشترك، مشيدًا بالجهود التي تبذلها الدولتان لدعم التنمية في القارة باعتبارهما من الدول المؤسسة لوكالة الاتحاد الأفريقي للتنمية «النيباد».

وأعرب عن تطلع بلاده إلى الارتقاء بمستوى التعاون الاقتصادي والثقافي مع مصر، ومواصلة التنسيق والتشاور إزاء مختلف القضايا الأفريقية والإقليمية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يعزز مساعي تحقيق السلام والاستقرار والتنمية في القارة الأفريقية. وشهد اللقاء تبادلًا للرؤى بشأن عدد من الملفات الإقليمية، حيث أكد الجانبان ضرورة تبني حلول سلمية شاملة تعالج جذور الأزمات وتحافظ على وحدة الدول وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها.

وتناول الرئيسان موضوع المياه، حيث أشار الرئيس السنغالي إلى مشاطرة السنغال لموقف مصر إزاء قضية نهر النيل وإدارة الموارد المائية المشتركة بشكل حكيم واحترام القانون الدولي ذي الصلة. كما أشار الرئيس السنغالي إلى إمكانية الاستفادة من نموذج منظمة تنمية نهر السنغال التي تقوم على التشاور والحوار وعدم الإضرار، بما يعزز الأمن المائي ويدعم مسارات التنمية المستدامة في القارة الأفريقية. زد يحدد شرطه لبيع نجمه إلى الأهلي
