وأوضحت وزارة الصحة والسكان أن لقاح الإنفلونزا الموسمية متاح للأطفال والكبار، ويمكن للأطفال من عمر 6 أشهر فأكثر الحصول عليه، لافتة إلى أن التطعيم يساعد على تقليل خطر الإصابة بالإنفلونزا ومضاعفاتها. ونصحت وزارة الصحة والسكان المواطنين بجعل التطعيم ضد الإنفلونزا الموسمية عادة سنوية مع بداية موسم الإنفلونزا، حفاظًا على صحة أفراد الأسرة وتقليل فرص الإصابة ومضاعفات المرض. وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن لقاح الإنفلونزا الموسمية متوفر حاليًا بمكاتب التطعيمات غير الروتينية التابعة لوزارة الصحة والسكان بجميع المحافظات.
