Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sharaf Fathi emphasized the importance of preserving and protecting archaeological sites and museums, stating that any collaboration with the private sector should be done in a balanced manner. He also highlighted the successful collaboration between the Ministry and the private sector in the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which began during the design and implementation stages, continued during the pre-opening and opening phases, and continues even after the opening. Minister Fathi also mentioned the importance of having a clear plan for managing this collaboration, including setting KPIs and establishing a management system to evaluate and monitor performance, ensuring accountability and fairness.
قال وزير السياحة والآثار شريف فتحي، أن المواقع الأثرية والمتاحف وإدارتها من قبل الوزارة يُعد أولوية أساسية لا يمكن المساس بها، مؤكداً على أن أي تعاون مع القطاع الخاص يتم بما يحقق التوازن بين التطوير والحفاظ على الأثر.
نجاح تجربة التعاون مع القطاع الخاص وتحدث الوزير، عن تجربة التعاون بين الوزارة والقطاع الخاص في المتحف المصري الكبير والذي بدأ منذ مراحل تصميم وتنفيذ المشروع، واستمر خلال مرحلة ما قبل الافتتاح ثم الافتتاح وما بعدها، بما يعكس نموذجاً ناجحاً للتكامل بين مختلف الأطراف.

وأضاف أن تجارب التعاون القائمة مع المشغلين في عدد من المتاحف تشهد تطوراً مستمراً يوماً بعد يوم، وحققت خبرات متراكمة ومُثمرة لجميع الأطراف المشاركة
