Shapiro, who is Jewish, said he has a niece in Israel now, along with other students, and that his family is hopeful all will return home safely just as other Pennsylvanians are looking for their loved ones’ safe return home. But he said concerns can’t end there. As the father of four children ranging in age from 12 to 21, Shapiro was asked how he and his wife Lori talk to their children about the rise in anti-Semitism.
